CompuDav JSetup just saves the data fork of a file in Mac OS X and not the resource fork. As such, .app "directories" are not deployed correctly when the file is extracted. One possibility to rectify this situation would be to zip your .app application in a .sitx file and then let your software's users know that they need to un-stuff that file in order to install that particular component of your application.
